It's been over 7 months and it still isn't easy. Little things remind me of you. Simple songs flood me with emotions. I know I'll never forget you, because you're a part of me, forever - you've changed me for the better, but I'm ready to let go, and move on. I'm tired of missing you. I'm tired of crying because you're not here. Tired of crying over the life and love I wish you could have had. I'm tired of hurting because I hear your voice, but know you're not here. I'm tired of the empty feeling...

I need to complain somewhere, so here goes nothing...

Today kind of sucked. My football team lost. Badly. After they lost, I went outside with my brother to try and forget about that terrible game, and in the process of running around, I re-tore a ligament in the bottom of my foot. So, now I'm crippled and basically I'm going to have to have surgery on it (AGAIN) unless somehow a miracle by the grace of God happens, and it heals on its own. I am just praying it doesn't completely...

People always say to be thankful for the things that you have, and I agree with that. I think thankfulness is a very important part of being humble and understanding how blessed you are in so many ways. I think people sometimes are more thankful for these 'things' than they are the people in their lives.
