I was 2 years old in 1993 so I had no idea.
In 2003 at 12 I was crushed, at first I didn't know what to think. I listened to his music and would cry, i kept thinking "why? why Michael? It has to be a lie" I even began to think he was guilty, until I saw him being arrested and I looked at him and knew my hero, the greatest singer in the world couldn't have done this. I supported Michael Jackson through that whole trial and I don't regret one minute of it, I've fought for Michael for 4 years now and I'll continue. The truth came out in the end and people should just leave him alone and let him live his life. |

i was so depressed when I heard about 1993 thinking about it in someway it was worse then 2003 cause I thought it was true there was NO internet back then so I didnt know the full story all I heard as on the tv and those tabloids. But along the way I got a fan magazine and in that I read about the facts and then I realised it was all for money. SO when 2003 came it was a shock to me but I realised it was all lies but this time I was in work and people i worked with knew I liked Michael so I got a hard time of it. They thought I was mad for believing in him but I proved them wrong so so wrong.

i think in 2003 Michael had to go to court to clear his name he did that but the press still think he got away with it. Maybe thats only because if the opposite happened they would sell millinos of papers and cause it didnt they lost out big time. Oh well I love it when the press loose and Michael wins YAY.

Well in 1993 I was 3 years old...and I didn't really discover Michael till I was 13, so I think a year after the second allegation. I felt so sad for Michael and vehemently defended and got angry if anyone said he did it because I was becoming obsessed only like a year after second allegation, like my first year of high school.
What I thought, of the first and the second, was basically total sadness and disgust at the lengths humans go to extort someone because by loving children and having that affinity and care for them, he was the perfect target for such allegations. In my mind, the fact that Jordan and his family took the money, rather than take it further, proves that's what they were after, the money. If your child had truly been molested, no amount of money in the world would stop you convicting the person responsible. Then with the second kid who had had been told he only had a certain amount of time left to live...that disgusted me so much because after the Martin Idiot interview, the mother said how horrible and false the whole portrayal was...that Michael was like a family...then changes her tune. I really think that Gavin, being taken to hang out in Neverland and be around Michael as a friend was what healed him, considering he had been told how long he had left...the care, time, friendship Michael gave him...and how do they thank Michael? try and extort him. After I read Behind The Mask recently, (the author himself first believed Michael may be guilty and wanted to prove this but the more he delved into the case, the less there was and the more innocent Michael looked, he said and in the end didn't believe it either.) Amway in that book, I was just so saddened after reading how Michael was driving and his car broke down...and that's how he met Jordan, because his dad worked at the car rental I think it was...and Jordan was a fan...so Jordan was brought in. It's just crazy that the whole Jordan thing may never happened but it happened, because Michael's car broke down. Strange synchronicity that was, and if Michael had been able to know that by going out driving by himself on that day like he did, that his car would break down and he would be introduced to a family with a child who was a fan...who would go on to be the first to destroy Michael...I doubt Michael would have gone out driving by himself that day. Stupid fate. I basically thought, vultures attacking a gentle man. I didn't think he was guilty. Would have been helpful if either case actually had evidence, but they didn't. The whole two ordeals basically confirm what the world is and who the people are who live in it. As a whole humanity isn't about the brother and sisterhood it should be. We Are The World. We Are The Children. HEAL THE WORLD. WHY people would choose evil and destruction for money, for the love of money, over the love of their fellow men and brothers...I can't understand. Money doesn't buy happiness and I hope both those families who made the allegations against Michael look within themselves and ask 'was is worth it?' I hope they look in the mirror and ask the person they see reflected to make a change. I have no idea how they sleep at night.

I remember the first allegations coming out and I couldnt believe it esp after the Dangerous Tour was doing so well. There was no internet that time so it was difficult to understand if all this was true or false. But when I seen Michael give that interview from his ranch I knew he was innocent. I kept following Mihclae after that and then when the 2003 allegations came again I was in shock and upset that it would ever happen again. I stood by Michael again because I knew this time was the same as before and also from what I read on the internet it seemed clear that this was another attempt to drag Michaels name down. I even remember people saying bad things about Michael then but I think the second allegation was slightly worse then the first one because of the fact the trial came about and that made more focus on the media. I am glad he fought them and came out innocent but I think he was a changed man after that

What annoyed me most was fans who turned away from Michael after that. Even on the second one fans turned away. I know of one fan who turned away in 2003 and now since his death she says she is a fan again. But she never stuck by him through the tough times. That annoys me.
