I'm pretty much stealing TWO of her ideas (even a lot of her phrasing), if you think of this as a "Discovering new music" project. :D

Basically, I'd like to put together a music mix that's got something from everyone on the forum. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to PM me 1-3 of your favorite songs. You could either tell me what the song is and I'll get it, or you could send me the actual file if there's a specific version of the song you want on there (i.e. the difference between "Who Is It" on Dangerous and "Who Is It" on The Essential Michael Jackson).

An audio CD can hold up to 80 minutes of music. I would LOVE to be able to mail physical CDs to everyone, but that will depend on how much music we end up with. If a lot of people participate (which would be AWESOME), I may have to choose certain songs to leave off. In the event that happens, I'll leave that decision up to you. NO MATTER WHAT, at least one of your songs WILL be on the CD.

So here's what I need from you...

• PM me 1-3 of your favorite songs
• List them in order of priority, in case I have to cut songs to conserve space (#1 being the song you most want on the CD)
• No Michael Jackson songs! Everyone here owns all of his music already. (well... probably not... but you get my point)
• If you want a copy of the MJIFC Soundtrack mailed to you when it's finished, please include your mailing address.

And that should be it. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to ask. I was drawn to this site by a story I stumbled upon through google! I just can't remember what it was. I used toread it regiously before I became a member. So you think you could help? Here's what I remember:

it started off when Michael was still performing with his brothers and I think he met another singer except she was a girl. And they were running from a crowd of people and then they became friends, and he liked her more than that. But she got pregnant by a guy who either was murdered or committed suicide...idr!! And then the girl had the guy who died baby and she, her baby n Michael became like a family until she died and thegirl was like...a todler now and Michael began raiding her and she became a singer at a young age. And the last I read the girl was leaving him when she was like a teen or something? Idk! I could be wrong but I don't think so.

If you guys do know what I am talking about can you all tell me the title and maybe tell me if it's good or not, but elaborate how good or bad cause it seemed like the last part I read was early on in the story...And I kinda have a question for the author but I'm a but intimidated to ask him/her. Does anyone have some pointers on him/her?
