Chapter 1

Alexis was playing a video game when she hears the phone ring

“Hello” she answered

“Hey sis” her older brother Jake replied

“Hey what’s up”?

“I wanted to know if you can keep me company”

“Ok when and where”?

“Wait answer me after I tell you where”

“Jake its fine I’m kinda busy now”

“Let me guess Nintendo”? He laughed” Anyway it’s to Japan”

Alexis forgot what she was playing “Japan you’re kidding me right”

“No I have to attend some emergency business meeting”

“Umm… I really don’t know”? She said to mess with him

“Please” he begged

“Ok ok fine I’ll go”

“I knew you would come by the way I also have a surprise for you”

She hit pause on her remote “Really what”? She said trying to keep her cool

“Well Michael Jackson is on his Bad tour and he so happens to be playing in the city were staying”

“Jake don’t mess with me you know how much I love him”

“Well since I’m messing with you I guess you won’t be wanting these two all access V.I.P backstage passes”

“I swear if you’re lying I’m gonna kick you’re a$$”

“I promise you” he assured her “Well pack your bags tomorrow morning we’ll be leaving”

She hung up the phone so excited, and started to pack.

**She got on Flight and arrived in Tokyo many hours later**

“Ugh… I couldn’t wait to get off that plane” she said rubbing her neck

“Your neck bothers you or are you just anxious to meet Michael Jackson”?

“Shut up”

Alexis was very shy, she grew up with an older brother playing games, and play fighting all the time has made her a tomboy. She was never into all that mushy girly girl stuff its why her friends are male, except her childhood best friend Chloe which happens to be a girly girl. Chloe and Alexis had one thing in common that they were fans of Michael Jackson. Alexis always was good making friends with guys but always hated the fact that when she was interested in a guy he would look at her more like a friend.

During the cab ride to the hotel it hit her 'What am I gonna say to Michael Jackson when I meet him' she thought

Jake saw she looked nervous and read her mind “Let me guess you’re wondering what you’re gonna say to Michael Jackson. Aren’t you”? She nodded confirming his guess “Be yourself and you will have no problem”.

'Yea..yea... yea you’re my brother of course you aren’t gonna tell me otherwise' She thought.

**She Arrived at hotel went to sleep woke up the next morning getting ready for concert**

Alexis was starting to get dressed in her usual dark clothes she put on a black and grey baseball fitted tee, black jeans, and a pair of black and white chucks. Alexis was heading downstairs to eat breakfast when all of a sudden she saw Chloe walk right past her

“Chloe”? Alexis called

“My god what are you doing here” They both said at the same time

Alexis gave Chloe a hug “I’m here with Jake he had an emergency meeting I came along and you won’t believe who I’m gonna see tonight”

“Who”? Chloe asked

“Michael Jackson”

“No way you’re lying”

“I swear, me and Jake are going”

Chloe looked at her in utter shock “Lucky Bitc*”

“Wait what are you doing here”?

“Well I meet this guy online he sends me a two way ticket and never shows”

“Oh Please you mean to tell me you flew half way around the world for some guy”?

“Shut up. Didn’t you come here to see some guy”? Chloe snapped back

“Chloe that’s different that some guy you referring to is Michael Jackson by the way. Any ways forget that I was about to eat something but I’ll order some room service Jakes treat” She laughed

“Ok that’s sounds good”.

**Alexis and Chloe caught up during breakfast**

*Ring Ring Ring* Alexis answered the phone

“Hello”

“Alex I’m so sorry”

She cut him off “Sorry about what”?

“I won’t be able to make it to the concert my boss has got me setting up some presentation and I’ve got to finish it”

Alexis was upset and raised her voice “Fine, ok Jake I have to go”

“I’m so sorry” he apologized again

She hung up feeling kind of bad for Jake she knew deep down he would come if he could.

Chloe saw the look on her face “What’s wrong”?

“Jake can’t make it to see the concert and more importantly meet him”

“So you mean you have a spare ticket and a friend with nothing to do”?

Alexis smiled “Cool its final you’re coming with me”

Chloe was so excited and went on about how good Michael looked and what she was gonna wear. Alexis rolled her eyes she knew Michael looked good but wasn’t use to sharing that kinda stuff since her guy friends won’t hear of it.

**Michael finished his performance and Alexis was about to meet him**

Chloe was yelling and Alexis was in utter shock they have never seen Michael perform live. They were already backstage waiting for Michael to come out. “My god he was amazing” she thought. Alexis’s legs were shaking, heart racing, and didn’t know what else to say to him besides hi. It was Alexis, Chloe, two other girls, and two guys waiting for Michael.

“When do you think he’s coming out”? Chloe asked

“Any min…”Alexis paused she felt as if everything went into slow motion when he stepped out of his dressing room. He was dressed all in black wearing one of his bad jackets. Everyone started yelling when he came out but Alexis was silent she still couldn’t believe it. Michael walked over to greet his V.I.P the guys he gave a handshake, the girls a kiss on the cheek, and a hug.

“I thank you all for coming to see my concert, I hope you all enjoyed it, and now I would like to invite you all to an after party with me for the evening” Michael said.

Chloe whispered to Alexis “he doesn’t need to ask who’s crazy enough to say no” she chuckled “Alexis I can’t believe it he kissed me” she ranted

“Yeah I know I was there” Alexis replied.

**Michael led them to a big hall where the party was**

**All the VIP sat around Michael at the party**

Alexis was sitting next to Chloe and the two other guys 'how am I suppose to say anything to him if all those “Dirty Diana’s” were all over him' Alexis thought. One girl had her hand on his thigh making her way to his inner thigh, and the other girl whispered something in his ear that made him blush. Alexis was about to talk with Chloe but she was distracted talking with one of the VIP guys.

“Alexis I’ll be back I’m gonna dance with him ok”

'Great now I’m alone and I won’t even get a chance to talk with Michael' Alexis got up and sat in an empty booth she looked over to see how Michael was handling those girls, she saw that he slowly removed that girls hand and excused himself like a perfect gentleman. Michael got up and saw one of his VIP sitting all alone he decided he would go over and say hello. Alexis saw him coming toward her and quickly turned her head.

“Hi” He said with smile

“Hi I really enjoyed your show”

“Thanks. Now why is one of my VIP sitting all alone”?

Alexis nodded toward Chloe on the dance floor “My friend is busy”

Michael smiled “Would you mind if I kept you company”?

“Yeah that would be cool”

Alexis felt her heart skip a beat 'ok just talk to him like you would any guy' she convinced herself.

“So is this your first time in Japan”?

“Yea I’m here for a few days my brother had some kind of emergency business meeting”

“So tell me did you really like the show”?

“No”

He gave her a double look “Really”?

“No I mean I loved it this was my first concert” she chuckled

“I’m glad”

Michael was kind of taken aback she wasn’t like other girls she was different “So tell me what do you do for fun”?

Alexis was a little confused as to why Michael Jackson would be interested in her, and wanted to know what she did for fun but she answered him anyway

” Well I love to play video games, wrestle with my brother, and I would so beat you in a water gun fight

“Ooooooo” his eyes lit up “Really”?

“Of course I am undefeated in a water gun fight”

“Yea come to Neverland sometime and I’ll show you how undefeated you are” He challenged

They kept talking and joking around they couldn’t stop laughing Alexis completely forgot about her nervousness.

“Hey you any good at the arcade”? He asked

“You’re Kidding I don’t like to brag but I can whip some serious butt” she said refraining from saying a$$ cause she knew he didn’t like to curse and respected that.

“Well I have Pac-man back in my dressing room”

“Is that a challenge”?

He raised an eyebrow “Maybe”

“Well Game on. Oh and just cause I’m a fan doesn't mean I’ll go easy on you”

He didn’t say anything he just looked at her with his eyes lighted up and gave her a big smile.

**An hour and a half past the score was pretty even and Chloe left Alexis with VIP guy **

“My god girl you really are a challenge I’d like to make a truce sometime we will settle the score over a water gun fight” he said laughing

“Ok a truce” they shook on it “you are lucky I’m a bit rusty playing Pac-man”

“I hate to end this but I have to get to an early meeting tomorrow “

“No problem it was great meeting you and I hope one day I can take you up on your offer”

“No not one day here is my number to my private line” he handed her a card with his number written on it” wait I didn’t get your name.

“Alexis”

“Ah Alexis” he said with a smile “I really did have fun with you today”

“So did I, ok bye Michael”

Before she can leave the room he kindly asked “Wait do you have a ride? I can take you back to your hotel if you like”

Alexis thought for a second 'Damn Chloe leaving me flat for some guy she don’t even know' she didn’t want to put Michael on the spot “It’s ok I’ll try to find a cab”

“Really I don’t mind” He insisted

“Really”?

“Why would I mind I’m not gonna leave you to just find a cab in the middle of the night”

There was something about the way he said that he made her blush 'I know I love him as a fan but he is just so charming, he has this childlike innocence, and is so handsome' she thought. she smiled “Ok” she felt her heart starting to pound she very well knew any girly girl would go crazy but she had to keep her cool or else she would be looking down, blushing, and not knowing what to say.

**Michael's Limo arrived**

Michael’s driver came out but Michael gave him some sort of hand gesture and he went back into the limo. Michael opened the door, motioned for her hand, and guided her into the limo.

Alexis was in awe'Is this what a real date feels like'? She asked herself. Alexis was 21, she’s only been asked out once, and it was just pizza with his friends she knew that’s wasn’t all to a date.

Michael sat next to her and asked “Where too”?

“Um it’s about 15 minutes from here, Ugh I forgot the places name”

“No worries I know where you’re talking about” Michael told the driver.

“So you said you’re here with your brother right”?

“Yea, business meeting” she reminded him

“I’m glad it was tonight or else I wouldn’t have met you” she smiled at him

“So when are you heading back home? I know your boyfriend must be anxious for you to get back”

Alexis laughed “What’s so funny” he asked

“Well I don’t have a boyfriend”

“That’s a shame any guy would be lucky to have you” he said while biting his lower lip

'Why does he have to bite his lip in front of me' she thought

The Limo pulled up to the hotel “Sir we have arrived at the ladies destination” the driver announced

“Thank you Winston” He looked at Alexis “Hold on”

He stepped out of the limo, ran to the other side, opened the door, and extended his hand. He led her out “You know I never met a girl like you and I had a lot of fun”

She smiled and started to feel her cheeks turn red” I had fun too, and I hope the challenge is still on” they both laughed. “Wait Michael do you have a pen”?

He dug in his pocket and pulled one out” here you go”

She laughed “do you have something I can write on”

He looked in his jacket and pockets “I don’t think so”

“Never mind give me your hand”

He gave her his hand and she scribbled something down” there’s my number” she said with a smile

“I hope to hear from you again” he said while placing a soft kiss on her hand “Goodnight”

“Goodnight Michael”

You have good potential but you really need to put in proper dialogue. not 'he told me' and 'I told him'. You should really put quotations, just like in regular books. If you did that, then your story could become really good

'Wow I can’t believe what a gentleman Michael was I had a sense he was but to experience it is so much different' she thought as she walked toward the elevator

“Alex” Jake called

“Hey you just getting in”? She asked

“Yea but I figured you were already upstairs. Alexis please tell me I’m wrong and I didn’t see you just get out of a limo with a man that looks very similar to Michael Jackson kissing your hand”

“Nope so far your right”

Jake glanced at his watch “it’s nearly 3:30 in the morning where have you been”?

“Jake I’m tired can we please talk upstairs”? She rolled her eyes 'ugh… Big brothers' she said to herself

“Hey if you’re so tired how come you’re all smiles”?

“My god was I that obvious” She felt her cheeks burn

“My god you are totally smitten with him”

“I am not” She snapped “I just had fun”

“Look I’m glad you had fun, and I’m sorry I bailed on you” he said closing the door behind him.

“Forget that you won’t believe who I ran into yesterday in the lobby”

“Who”?

“Chloe”

“What is she doing in Japan?” he asked

“Don’t you dare say anything but she met this guy online and came here to meet him but he stood her up”

Jake always had a thing for Chloe he hated seeing her end up hurting for some guy. Jake knew if Alexis knew she would nag him about it.

“Aww I feel bad for her”

“Yea but I’m sure she’s over it”

Jake tilted his head to the side “Really whys that”?

“Let me tell you what happened first”

Jake let out a big yawn”Sorry sis it’s that I’m exhausted the boss had me working hard on some kind of “Secret project”, and he won’t even tell me who or what it’s for cause it’s on a need to know basis”

“Something tells me I had a better day than you” She laughed

“Wait if you went with Chloe where is she”?

“Well that’s part of my story she left me flat for some Michael Jackson VIP guy”

“What” he yelled “how is she gonna take off with some guy she don’t know”

“Chill bro I’m sure she’s fine I’ll call her tomorrow “Alexis felt Jake was always a little protective of Chloe but never knew why.

They both sat on a couch “Wait sis remind me to tell you something later, now tell me what happened”.

“Ok Chloe and I arrived at Tokyo Dome, we were waiting for the show to start when all of a sudden Michael comes out singing “Wanna be startin something”, and you can really tell everyone was screaming full of adrenaline”

Jake didn’t say a word he just observed the excitement in her face

” Everyone was shoving each other but no one got mad cause everyone was just so excited to be there”

“Whoa I missed out” He chuckled

“That aint nothing this lady came up to Chloe and yanked out her hair for only god knows the reason why”

Jake was laughing “like I said I missed out, and then what did Chloe do”?

“Well that lady ran but Chloe got over it pretty fast cause Michael finished off with “Man in the mirror” and we were about to go backstage”.

“Damn you must have been nervous”

“Ugh… Like you couldn’t imagine”

“Wait… wait so how does that leave you getting a limo ride with Michael Jackson”?

“Well if you keep interrupting me I guess you won’t be finding out anytime soon”.

“I was waiting with other VIPs outside his dressing room when all of a sudden he comes out to greet us, and I quote

Alexis stretched her arms in the air and faked a yawn”Ok I’m off to bed”

“Ok I’m at the party Chloe was entertained talking with VIP guy and I felt so alone watching some “Dirty Diana” girls all over him. I didn’t even say anything more than hi to him”

Jake snapped his fingers “man I love Dirty Diana’s”

“Um Jake you aint no rock star”

“So what you'd do”? He asked

“I got up and sat in an empty booth across the room, then noticed Michael excuse himself, and saw him heading right in my direction”

“Then”?

“Well I panicked I had to keep my cool. He said hello and long story short when he found out I was into games he challenged me to game of Pac-man”

“Well did you take him up on that”?

“Jake when have I ever turned down a challenge”

“Good point did you win”?

She smiled “well actually we tied an hour and a half in till we made a truce to one day settle the score at Neverland”

“You mean to tell me he invited you to his house”?

“Yea he even told me he never met a girl like me”

Jake raised a brow” hummmmm…”

She shot him back a dirty look

“What can’t a big brother be protective of his little sister”?

“Whatever Jake”

“Umm…the limo ride”?

“Ok he said he had to get up early for some meeting, offered me a ride home, dropped me off, and I bumped into you”

“I’ll kick you’re a$$ trying to get smart with me” he said laughing

“Jake you and I know both know I can very well hurt you” they were both laughing

Alexis omitted telling Jake she gave Michael her number and vice versa.

“Oh yea you said you had something to tell me”? She asked

“Oh yea my boss’s best guy at work is sick back home and can’t make it here”

“Ok your telling me this why…”?

“Well it means I get to present my project to a very important client”

“That’s good”

“Well that means I have to stay here a few days longer. So you’re not mad”?

“Mad why would I be mad”?

“Well cause I’m not gonna be around much and you’ll be all alone”

“Don’t worry I got Chloe”

They both let out a yawn

“I’m going to sleep sis”

“Yea me too goodnight”

“Ditto” he replied

Alexis woke up to the sun beaming in her eyes 'Ugh...stupid light' she closed the curtain. She walked to Jakes room rubbing her eyes and saw his bed neatly done and realized he left for work. Alexis went to the bathroom, freshened up, and started to remember when he kissed her hand causing a chilling sensation down her back.” Is this what those girly girls feel when they are on a date”? She asked herself.

*Ring ring ring* The phone threw Alexis off her thoughts

“Hello” she answered assuming it was Jake or Chloe

“Hi is this Alexis” a very soft voice replied

“Yes it is”

He let out a sign of relief she gave him the right number

“It’s Michael”

Alexis couldn’t believe he called “hey how are you”

“I’m good I just got back from that meeting I told you about”

“Well how did it go”?

“Great they got some new guy with such amazing ideas they told me his name was Jake ugh… I didn’t get a last name but I’ll hopefully be meeting him soon”

“Great”

“I’m sorry I’m baffling about boring stuff” he chuckled

“Don’t apologize I did ask”

“Well enough about me I called you cause I was wondering if you like to hang out maybe play some games and pizza”

He held his breath in anticipation hoping to get a yes

'My god he wants to hang with me my god say yes say yes' she thought

“You still there”? He asked

“Yes”

“Wait yes your still there or yes to my offer”?

“Both” she replied

He smiled “Good I’ll send a car to pick you up”

“Ok when”?

“Hows two hours”?

“Great see you then Michael”.

'I couldn’t believe it I was going to hang out with “the Michael Jackson” if only Chloe knew' she thought

Jake just arrived “Hey sis where you off to”?

“Hey bro what’s with all the smiles”?

“Well my boss just told me I blew that client away, well I’m not suppose to tell you this but I think it’s someone famous and wants to meet me in person tomorrow”

Alexis Froze 'Wait Michael couldn’t have meant my Jake' she thought

“Sis”? He called

She snapped out of her thought “Yea that’s cool”

“So where are you going”? He asked

Alexis thought quick she didn’t want Jake to know she was about to see Michael

“I’m gonna meet up with Chloe and check out the sights” She said feeling completely guilty lying to her brother

“Ok cool I’m gonna take a nap”

Jake was already fast asleep when Michaels car arrived

“Hello I’m Winston, I will be driving you “said the driver tilting the brim of his hat “So how are we today mi lady”?

“Very Good thank you and yourself”?

“Splendid” he answered

“Where’s…”

“Mi lady Mr. Jackson has told me to inform you he will be meeting you at his suite”

“Ok thank you”

Alexis arrived at Michael’s suite

He opened the door and placed a kiss on her hand “Come in”
